If you are playing the Series X version, all Series X games must be installed internally or on the expansion card

    Hello!

My name is Dérek, I'm an independent platform consultant and I'm grateful for the opportunity to help you.

Kitty, Could you explain me better about this error?

I will explain about storage. When you install a game, if you have an external HD, you can choose which device you want to install it on.

Some optimized games can only be installed on SSD by the rate of read speed.

I look forward to receiving further information on your query.

    Some noob questions...

You should be able to copy it to a USB and/or your cloud using the console memory management utility. Of course, you will need to make your backup before the drive/box dies.

    storage solution?
Is it possible to take DLC's and put them onto a USB device
Most DLC will install/copy to a USB Memory Unit.
and copy them over to my HDD on my PC and copy them back onto the Xbox when I need them?
    No. DLC
cannot be copied to a PC.

As of the latest update, the 360 supports up to two 32GB USB Memory Units at a time. That should be plenty of room for two games per stick and all the game DLC.
