Does codes Xbox Live Gold redeem codes have expiration date?

If you have acquired an Xbox Live Gold code, I would check to see what the expiration date says on it. And just make sure to redeem it before the code expires!

Hi, in general, you can redeem another Xbox Live Gold code while your current subscription is active, and it will extend your subscription by the number of months for the code- in other words, if your current subscription expires at the end of December 2018
and you redeem a 12-month code, your subscription would then expire at the end of December 2019. There are a couple potential constraints that might apply, so I'll list them just in case:

-You can't redeem a trial code for Xbox Live Gold while you have a current subscription. You could redeem a trial code if your current subscription expires.

-You can stack up to three years of Xbox Live Gold on one account- you might run into an error if you try to redeem something and it would push the expiration date beyond three years from today. You can check the current expiration date of your subscription

Thanks for the response, quick question, the code was purchased digitally, its not an actual card, i assume no issues will be happening right, code still doesn't have expiration correct?

There is no expiration code for subscriptions. The only codes that have expirations are promotional codes.
