Does Buying 3 months of gold twice give you six months?

So the other day i ran out of gold and i saw that they were doing a sale were it would cost 10 dollars for three months. so i bought a 10 dollar pre paid code and bought it. But when i went to join a party the xbox redirected me to the page that tells you
you are out of gold. but this time the price for 3 months was 25 dollars. so i assumed there was a glitch and i lost my ten dollars. i spent 25 and bought the three months. but this morning i was looking through my email and i saw i had an email from Microsoft
say they accepted my subscription request. meaning that the ten dollars worked and i spent 25 dollars for nothing. But since i bought 3 months twice will one not activate till the other meaning i have six months? I just want to know i didn't waste my money
for nothing.

Xbox live gold subscription sales

Yesterday I saw a sale for xbox live gold subscription that it said 3 different sales for me to choose.

1. Buy xbox live gold for 1 month and we'll give you 50% off

2. Buy xbox live gold for 3 months and we'll give you a month free

3. Buy xbox live gold for a year and we'll send you Rainbow Six Siege

I bought xbox live gold 12 month and the thing is that I still do not have the game. I don't know if I have to wait a couple of days to them to send me the game code or I have to do something apart from buying the gold subscription.

Why not buy a month gold for less than £5 12 months is £25.

Can't see someone giving you a 3 month live, maybe a 48 hour one

If you bought 1 month of gold, and you have anout 3 weeks left. Then buy 1 month of Ultimate. The remaining 3 weeks of Gold is converted to Ultimate as well since Ultimate includes Gold giving you 1 month and 3 weeks of Ultimate.

Trials are not xbox live gold so your account won't show you as having gold,trials only give you access to some gold features.

If you want a full gold account you would need to buy either a 1 month,3 month or 12 month subscription.

The only way to get your profile to show as an xbox live gold member is to buy a gold subscription,either a 1 month,3 month or 12 month sub.
