    Does blocking someone do anything?


    Myself and my girlfriend have been getting harassed by a shared ex of ours and even though us blocking him more than a month ago and reblocking after receiving more messages are still being harassed. What is the point of blocking someone on this platform if it won't prevent someone from messaging you directly? Is there anything we can do to make this not happen again??

    Should.be noted if you respond to any of the msgs after blocking it will unblock them

    Just block and forget about it

    If he/shw is using different accounts set privacy and set contacts to friends only and take it up with the police that will end it over any platform.and legally with the police

    Blocking another player should prevent you from receiving that player’s messages, game invites, and party invites. It also prevents the player from seeing your online activity and removes them from your friends list, if they were on it.

    Are you getting those messages from the same account?

    They are from the same single account, blocking seems to have done nothing in this case and I'm quite confused on how.

    I will look into the contact setting part but yeah it's a singular account that I blocked and never responded to but the messages kept coming in so I am hoping that the contact setting fixes this.
