    Hi all,

    I've been an Xbox Insider since day 1 with my Xbox One, One S, One X, Series S. I've just purchased a Series X console and I'm wondering if being on the Insider program is worth it with this console? (It's my pride and joy).

    I've heard of people having their hardware die due to the Insider program. I've never experienced this, although I regularly join and leave the previews when I get serious bugs.

    Has anyone had their consoles literally break due to an Insider build? I don't know whether having my Series X on the Alpha Skip ahead or Alpha is worth it?

    Just looking for some feedback on whether it's worth leaving this console in the program, or leaving it...

    It's still rolling out so at some point you'll get it on your Series S.
    Only if you are in a Insider preview ring! ASA, Alpha, Beta, Delta or Omega.

    There has been no notification that the new dashboard has been released to GA.

    I think the Beta ring is pretty good. Updates aren't as frequent as with Alpha and ASA, less bugs, but still get to try features early.

    OSU1 may update needed

    Seems a long time to wait. From Beta to Omega, and then GA, just to get a OSU1 file thats older than Beta preview the console is on. A Factory reset is quicker than waiting for a file that may not solve a potential hardware issue.

    As far as I'm aware the new dashboard is only available to Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead previews.

    I would investigate your network access if you need to use a OFFLINE System update file (OSU1) all the time. A stable network is required for all the preview updates that Alpha and Skip Ahead receive each week.

    Depending on preview, a Insider console is updated several times over the course of preview.

    ASA preview is especially demanding of updates, and if one or two are missed, well, lets just say its not convenient.

    XBOX SERIES X BATTLEFIELD 2042 crashing

    I don't believe this is a hardware issue. If it is, they need to tell us specifically what is happening that makes our Xbox faulty on only one game. Never heard of that before. Why does every other game work fine with no crashing? Only the Xbox Series X/S version of BF2042 is crashing for ppl on the Series X/S after going through all of the troubleshooting steps, different controllers (someone suggested elite series 2 is a possible cause) etc. Is EA going to address this issue or can we get a more specific technical explanation?
