    my controller connects to my ipad and iphone and i can use it for features on the ipad(e.g taking a screenshot) but i cannot use it while on the xbox app IOS or use it while on remote play and in fact when opening up remote play it comes up saying ‘(my name) has stopped playing remotely’ and my controller won’t work for the xbox remote play. it will now asleep not connect to my xbox so i had to use a keyboard to check if remote play was turned on in settings on my xbox, and it was, so i do not know how to fix it, if anybody knows how to fix it that would be great

    Hi and thanks for reaching out. I hope you’re doing well. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I'll be happy to help you.

    Please try doing a hard reset on your console by following the steps below;

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Once done, try connecting your controller again.

    If I do the console reset option that doesn’t remove games and apps on the Xbox series s, does it still remove all accounts as well?

    Thankyou for the response, I have other things connected to my WiFi and are having no issues with them so my WiFi is on and working, I even pulled out my Xbox one and it’s having the same issues, I’ve reset my Xbox series s, and It won’t even let me finish the setup stages because it just simply won’t connect.

    Yes in this moment i have it connected by USB cable if I can connect it and my PC detects it. But I want it connected without using the usb cable. It's a pretty expensive control that buys it with a lot of effort. And I do not know why a normal control detects it without problem and the Elite does not work.
    And regarding your other question, my elite control does not have any connection problem with my xbox one s
