Does anyone know why after putting in a Xbox gift card, my account now shows negative vbucks?

We understand that you have redeemed an Xbox gift card but for some reason instead of getting more vbucks you are now in the negative.

This issue may have been caused by settings in your account that need to be changed. Or it may also be a problem with redemption process. So let us work together as a team to get to the bottom of this. But to better assist you I need to ask:

1) When you say "vbucks" are you referring to V-Bucks that is the in-game currency used in Fortnite?

2) If so, the Xbox gift card you were redeeming is the same as the one in the link below? Or was it something else?

3) Have you contacted Epic Games using the link below about this issue? What did they have to say about it?

I bought 9 euro vbucks just now with my Microsoft account balance from a gift card and I have xbox account linked to my epic games. I don't see the vbucks on my account. Is it not possible to access the vbucks on pc?

I'm having kind of the same problem as my son is trying to purchase vbucks but we are using a digital Microsoft Xbox gift card. Shows funds were added want gift card was entered but once he tried to purchase vbucks it states the gift card has already been redeemed! I'm going nuts over here and feel terrible at the same time and not sure what to do :/
