Does Anyone Know How To Fix The “Out Of Video Memory” Error?

EDIT1: I’m receiving this error on my Xbox One.

So, every so often, I’ll receive an error that says:

“Out of video memory trying to allocate a rendering resource. Make sure your video card has the minimum required memory, try lowering the resolution and/or closing other applications that are running. Exiting..."

It then closes my game, not saving any progress online or otherwise.

This error shows up periodically and I want to know if there’s a way to fix it.

Are you playing on a laptop?

Laptops often have a shared memory pool with the main RAM

It seems to only happen with Rogue Company. It’s the only thing I’m running.

Hard Resets have not stopped the error from occurring.

is this on pc, if so what gpu do you have.

We would need the exact model, but my guess would be that your laptop has a shared pool of Main and graphics, memory, and that that is not enough to play the game. Please post the exact model of your laptop.
