Does anyone know how to fix party creation issues?

For the past couple of days I haven't been able to invite or start parties (and join others) from my Xbox One X. When attempting to start a party, the box becomes lighter, however nothing happens. No party is created, and no error message. I also tried from profiles, however, the same thing happens. No notification that in invitation is sent out, and no party creation. I have tried fixing the issue by switching networks, however this didn't work. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks!

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

To fix this, please perform an extended power cycle an reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

I got it too. Hold the power button for 10 seconds to power cycle. Probably will need a patch from Xbox.

Probably temporary. You can try restarting the console. Or a power cycle. Turn off and unplug the Xbox from the wall for 1 minute.
