Does anyone know how to fix my Wi-Fi connection dropping every 5 minutes?

While trying to download a game update my wifi connection keeps dropping roughly every 5 minutes. I’m connected with Starlink wirelessly and I’m watching my data screen. No other devices lose connection just the Xbox. Like clockwork to the point I can predict when it’s going to drop. I don’t mean it slows down, I mean complete lose to the point my Starlink app doesn’t show it in my connected devices. All it shows is a warning message saying the device is no longer connected. Is my wifi hardware messed up or what?

Hey,

sometimes izt helps to connect the Xbox with LAN. Once they have have communicated the wifi works better.

If that doesn't work you might need to perform a router hard reset while the Xbox is ON.

Yes, I know, but this isn't an issue that can be chalked up to an intermittent Wi-fi connection. Like I said, streaming over Wi-fi works perfectly well until the television is turned off, at which point the streaming connection is dropped completely. It's
100% reproducible.

Update: Same issue today, decided to stay offline today, disconnected from my wi-fi, turned off online mode, controller does not disconnect but 'freezes' every few minutes or so from 10-30 seconds with whatever the current button input was. Not sure if it's
related to the wi-fi/controller disconnect issue.

If you are connected with wi-fi, check that the signal is optimal and there are no drops.

Hi Dspaceman , I know the reason your problem is happening, It happens to me soemtimes too. The router will drop for 3 seconds and all Wi-Fi processess will stop it happens sometimes to me while I play on my xbox. The only way to fix it is turn off some
Wi-Fi applications like another xbox.
