Does anyone know how to find the "Owner ID" associated with you Xbox Live Gamer tag?

I am trying to get a dedicated server set up for the game space engineers.

To be able to have admin rights on the server (rented from Gportal) I need the "Owner ID" assigned to my Xbox profile.

I can't seem to find any support pages on Xbox.com that even mention an Owner ID or how to find it. Does anyone know anything about how to find this ID?

Do you have your old console around?

You can find the Windows Live ID associated with your Xbox LIVE account on your old console. To do so:

Sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

Go to Settings, select Account, and then select

Account Security.

The Windows Live ID that is associated with your account is shown.

This seems like this is an item defined by G-Portal. What do they consider an Owner ID? Could you ask or request the process to retrieve the Owner ID that they once used to retrieve your owner ID? I can look into the Xbox Profile online or on console but what they designated an "Owner ID" may not be called that. You can try Settings > System > Console info and see if any of those are helpful. But I would need to understand how G Portal defines "Owner ID"

if you are trying to chang your Live ID, you can only do this on an xbox. And it sounds like you are trying to chang it to one that has a gamer tag on it already. You have to use a Live ID that does not have a gamer tag on it and you can only do this on
an Xbox.

Are they digital games? If so they are not yours and belong to the original owner due to the DRM restrictions on digital games. The original owners gamer tag also does not belong to you. Id be safe and wipe the xbox, make your own gamer tag and buy disk
retail games. You can currently pick up alot of great games for really cheap in bargain bins at game shops.

It takes 7 years for a Gamer Tag to recycle. You also have to understand that someone who created a Gamer Tag 6 years ago doesn't need to have an Xbox account in order to use the Windows Live ID that is associated with the account. As long as the email
is being used the gamer tag is being used.
