Does anyone have Hitman World of Assassination downloaded right now?

Hey. This is not actually a question but I hope someone can help me. Could you please share a screenshot of game's directory (inside XboxGames) of Hitman?

I have the game downloaded from steam and wanna try to transfer it to game pass. For that I need to know the name of the UWP version's folder. Not sure it'll work but whatever, don't wanna download the whole game again from xbox app.

Hi there!

Please be informed that transferring game files from Steam to Game Pass is not possible and won't really work. They are two different platforms and have used different file system and licensing procedure. You must install your games directly from the Microsoft Store or Xbox app in order to play the game.

You're welcome and that is a possibility.

Try to launch the game Hitman: world of assassinations from Game Pass and check if you have the Hitman 3 missions from there.

Hi, Ayushman. Thank you for the update.

Please be guided with the following troubleshooting steps:

Make suere that both Hitman: World of Assassination and the Xbox app are up to date. Open Microsoft Store, go to Library, and update any pending updates for the game or Xbox services.

And then run the game as administrator. To do this, right-click the Hitman: World of Assassination shortcut. Select Run as administrator to see if it bypasses the issue.

Next is to sign out & sign back into Xbox App. Open the Xbox app on your PC.

Click your profile icon in the top right, then Sign Out. Restart your PC, open the Xbox app, and sign back in. Please launch the game again.

Then repair the Game. Do this by opening Settings > Apps > Installed Apps. Search for Hitman: World of Assassination.

Click Advanced options, then select Repair.

After that is to disable overlay and background apps. Turn off overlays such as Steam Overlay, Discord Overlay, or Xbox Game Bar since they can cause crashes.

Close unnecessary background apps before launching the game.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly uninstall and reinstall Hitman: World of Assassination to ensure there are no corrupted files.
