Does anyone have any idea why the word fuse isn’t allowed as a gamer tag

Unfortunately it is not possible to circumvent any system restriction, Microsoft support cannot do it either, you could only try to use an alternative to the gamertag, for example, replace the character "1" by "l" or add an "x" at the end.

That's really strange ! I thought it might be cause the name could be a way to bypass 'cloaca' - but 'cloaca' is allowed ! ^^

It says gamer tag is not allowed try a different one but my friends have Boss at the start of their names and I have tried numerous different names just doesn’t work don’t see how Boss isn’t allowed

Because that word has in the past for many decades been associated with fat shaming, bullying and other unpleasant behaviour that has impacted the self esteem of many people in their lives (gamers and non-gamers). I can see why it isn’t allowed as it could
be deemed offensive and inappropriate.
