Does anyone have a problem with a game missing from their microsoft store library? Stolen...

I'm assuming you are on PC

You need to open the Xbox app, which is part of Windows to see your game

You do not need to subscribe to anything

You have to use Xbox services, which are free and part of windows, to play the game, as it's a Microsoft game.

If the game is still inaccessible open a ticket with support and provide the receipt.

it is possible, as g2a only hosts sellers and some of them sell stolen keys.

best to get from reputable retail stores or cd keys, humble etc. any sites that have varying prices are usually private sellers, they are the ones to watch out for.

some people got keys for steam on g2a that ended up being stolen, the account were fine they just removed the game from their library. but as this is microsoft then they would probably ban your entire life from the network.

I did the process and the problem continues, in the microsoft store the game appears as purchased and there is no installation option and it also does not appear in the library for instalaton. This is happening with all free games

I have the same issues here! I looked around for solutions and it seems I am not the only one who is having this problem. Updated my win 11 and all the apps from windows store, all of the sudden 2 of my recently installed games are gone missing on my Xbox App. I had, Age of Empires IV (Still can access from Xbox app library), Microsoft FLight Sim 2020 (Still can Access from Xbox app library), Mount & Blade 2 Banner Lord (Missing from Xbox App), Redfall (missing from xbox app).

Those two app I had to run it from microsoft store, or run it form windows start icon.

I do know this is a microsoft thing, as when I saw the redfall banner on Xbox app, it says "See in Microsoft Store"

This is dysfunctional!!! I can ran some app without accessing xbox store, while some requires Xbox app (e.g fs 2020, age of empires iv) as they have no separate run icon on the windows start menu!

I also notice that there are 3 topics asking the same question...
