    Does anyone elses xbox beta app not work right?


    So I downloaded the New Xbox app for pc today so that I could game with my friends as the xbox companion app for pc does not let you join someones party now. It does not let me join a party, create a party, or invite someone to a party. I have uninstalled
    and reinstalled both the xbox app, the xbox companion app, reset the microsoft store, restarted my computer, and nothing has changed. I still can not join a party, create a party, or invite someone to a party. This app is broken, please fix it!!!!!

    I get that, I just believe that the party system is such a basic component of the Xbox experience, it really shouldn't have had this issue in the first place.

    Problem solved if anyone else has this issue!

    I just uninstalled the XBOX BETA APP and reinstalled. Everything I was reading was telling me to do this using powershell and doing it with the xbox gaming service. It was the beta app that was causing the problem. After the uninstall, the installer can
    freeze and you just need to reboot and it should work.

    Found a fix for this - use xbox app on phone - log in - go to store - search for bf beta - 'purchase' the open beta there - worked fine. Nothing else worked for me but this.

    I'm on this new beta update for xbox one and since this my tv won't turn off with the command xbox off. Everything else does but the tv. Anyone else having the same problem?
