    This has been an issue for me for a while now but I mostly play in 60hz anyways so it's not a big deal. When I play fps games I move to 120hz only when I'm playing with friends as that way I can use my headset which works fine for audio.

    Im not sure if it's an issue with my tv (Sony x900h), series x, or receiver (yamaha rx-v585). I run hdmi 2.1 through the whole setup, with the stock series x hdmi cable connecting the Xbox to TV and another hdmi 2.1 to connect the TV to receiver via eARC (eARC is supported and enabled on both the tv and receiver).

    I get near constant audio dropouts (where I can see my receiver is losing the signal) but only when 4k 120hz mode is enabled on the Xbox. 4k60hz works fine. Does anyone know a fix for this?

    Im on stock/public firmware on the Xbox.

    Xbox One X VRR Issue

    I had the same issue using a Denon hdmi 2.1 AVR. I solved it using VRR with 120hz, but I have a hdmi 2.1 tv and a Series X, not One X. I guess you are stuck with 4k without vrr or full hd 120 and vrr. Another solution is to connect the Xbox directly to the tv and use arc/earc for audio, but One X does not support 4k 120hz, so you are stuck with full hd 120 if you use vrr.

    start mixer at the moment of opening the game since in my experience there are games that need you to transmit your credits to let you use the game, in case this does not solve the problem open the audio menu and check that the volume is activated since
    usually the audio promises when transmitting are not having the audio levels set

    Samsung provided me with an answer to the second question I wasn't aware the ARC HDMI will send audio to an AV Reciever while Xbox is plugged directly into a different HDMI (thought it all had to be run through the ARC HDMI, so that solved that problem.

    Thought I would provide an update encase anyone else may have similar issues.

    Can you please clarify which cable are you talking about?

    I have this same audio delay issue with my setup:

    Xbox One X -> Original Xbox HDMI Cable (I presume this one is HDMI 2.0) -> LG OLED B9 TV -> Random HDMI Cable connected to ARC -> Denon X2200W

    I read that the cable for ARC doesn't have to be HDMI 2.0 as it just transmits audio (any HDMI 1.4 should be enough for that).
