Does any one know how to fix messed up and really dark display colors?

Whenever I change my TV picture mode from movie to anything else, the display gets all messed up. I've tried a few ways but I cant seem to fix it. I have also tried restarting my Xbox and unplugging it then plugging back in again. My TV has 4k and HDR

Thank you for your feedback. Are you saying that when you installed this game it caused your computer's colors to be messed up? Please let me know if my understanding is wrong.

You can try uninstalling the game and see if the problem persists.

Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I haven't explained something clearly.

If your TV isn’t doing that for everything, then, yes. I would try another device on the input just to make sure that isn’t it

Don't know what I didn't think to try other devices. It's doing the same thing on my PS4 and Switch. Definitely the TV.

Firebird, yes it's clear there is an attempt at a mode switch because the screen goes dark and re-initializes but like I said the Netflix app then displays very muted colors like its expecting to output HDR but half the color data is missing. If I back out
to the dashboard, the off-color stays. But if I then quit Netflix, the screen display re-initialized and colors are back to normal.

Clearly the Netflix app believes it is in HDR mode because HDR-enabled titles are clearly labeled as such when I have my One S in HDR mode. If I disable HDR, then the Netflix app no longer displays the HDR label on compatible titles. Only 4K UltraHD. So
the app is trying but something is off.

I know others are having a similar issue...there is a Reddit thread about Netflix displaying muted colors on Xbox One S in HDR mode. So it's not just us.

Would be nice to get an official word on this and hear that a fix is coming. I can tell you that Mad Max looks incredible with HDR enabled. I wasn't sure how much of a difference it would make, the the clarity and contrast on the colors is night-and-day
vs HDR turned off. Would be very nice to have Netflix working properly as well.
