Does an xbox gift card from one country work in another country if its the same currency?

It will not work because it is registered in the region where you have purchased it and you can only use it in the German store region and if you're located in Germany physically.

Balances are not converted from one currency to another. You must spend the value of the currency in which it was purchased. You will have to buy another Microsoft gift card when you move to another country or region, because the balance you have in one
currency will not work in another marketplace.

May I know why do you have currencies from another countries in your account?
And, where did you get that currency (I mean, the gift cards)
