Does Achievement Progress Carry Over To Your Next Character?

I'm aware that if I play as a purely good character I won't be able to get all the achievements on one playthrough so I'm wondering if achievement progress is shared or carried over to the next playthrough? In other words if I have 20 keys on my first character
for instance and I start a second character who will be evil and they collect the other 10 keys will that give me the achievement for getting all the silver keys?

That's just an example scenario.

Hi there, your achievements and campaign progress will not carry over as they are separate from your Xbox One game and don't transfer. However, your multiplayer progress and rank will carry over and work simultaneously for both platforms.

To the best of my knowledge no it doesn't carry over on a second character.

 

When you start a new character it will be from the beginning. You'll have to collect keys all over again. I would just choose one character as a primary and use the second playthrough solely for achievement hunting.

Shared in some ways, not as silver keys though as getting 50 on one account unlocks the last chest, that is some part of a reminder that you can now unlock it. Some are shared though
