    Hi,

    Last night I purchased a digital copy of Dark Souls 3 on my Xbox one. After purchasing, I received the confirmation email from the xbox store at my email associated with my account, and the download of the game began. When it finished, I tried launching
    the game and I got the “Do you own this game or app?” message, stating to either insert the disk or buy a digital license. When I go look in the store, the option to buy is still on the dark souls 3 page, but when I select buy, I get a message saying "you
    already own this game".

    Help would be greatly appreciated, as I would like to kill some demons “Do you own this game or app?” after purchasing Dark souls 3 :).

    0x803f8001 error ("Do you own this game or app?") - Yes, I own it.

    Started getting this error today trying to start up Dark Souls via backward compatibility.

    I just played it yesterday. Today, I'm having a license/ownership issue of some sort. Anybody else seeing this?

    Hi there. First, confirm that the game is in your account clicking on the link below:

    account.xbox.com/.../MyGames

    If yes, just remove all accounts from console, restart your console and enter your account again.

    If no, contact Xbox support for an investigation of a missing license

    Hey dude,

    Codes are usually generated 7-10 days, and will be sent to you through xbox messages. Also, it only stated that the codes will be generated after 7-10 days, however doesn't state whether that is 7-10 days after you pre-order, or after the game is released.
    So it could be either

    "For a limited time, purchase Dark Souls III on the Xbox One Store and get Dark Souls for Xbox 360, to become playable on Xbox One at a later date. The code for Dark Souls will be delivered to your Xbox message center in 7-10 days."

    Just received my dark souls 1 code ......... But wait for it

    The ad on the website and the ad on the console are different.

    You guys made a very big mistake and it's making everyone very upset.

    Your website and console information description of Dark Souls 3 are different and is causing confusion.

    here is the website description where it states that Dark Souls 1 will be playable later.

    Here is the YouTube video I recorded with the consoles description of Dark Souls 3 which states after 7-10 days you can play the game. It's still false advertisement even if it was a mistake.
