Yes as you need to sign into the acocunt that bought the digiral games

And remake the x as your home console or be signed in online

Network transfer doesn't cancel the disk requirement for disk games you need to have the disk in the drive

I’ve done this and it still doesn’t work and even when I put the disc in it still asks if I own it or not

I also downloaded add ons for a game I already have (forza horizon 4) and it tells me I need to buy the add ons from the marketplace despite having them installed

When you say you transferred your games from your xbox one to the xbox one do you mean you did a network transfer?

If you do a network transfer of the games this would push the install of the games to your new console from your old console and you would not need to redownload the games.

Signed in with the same account from the xbox one?

If you sign in with the account that owns the games the games would automatically show up in the ready to install section of your my games and apps and you would just redownload them and install them.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. You would not need to back up any games. The games that you own are all attached to your Xbox Profile. As long as you sign into the same Microsoft Account/Gamertag, you don't need to worry.

You can save some time by
backing up your already installed games onto an external hard drive. That way you would not have to spend time re-downloading games you play. You should also look into the Network Transfer feature here: Enable
