Do you need an Xbox itself to chat?

I can't message my friend in my Xbox account on my phone. I do not have an Xbox itself. Is an Xbox necessary to chat, or not?

Hi, no you do not need an Xbox to chat. As long as you have an Xbox live account, you can use any device that is supported by the Xbox app to chat with.

you can't contact the Repair center itself, all you can do is contact Xbox Support via Phone (or Chat) and ask them for an update.

Sometimes it just takes time before UPS can pick it up, so I wouldn't yet worry about it.

All you can do is report and block them if they are sending messages on Xbox Live.

If, however, the cussing and harassing is happening within a game's chat, then you need to contact the Developer of the game about it as Xbox have no control over what happens in games. Same with cheating..that needs to be dealt with by the Developer or Publisher of the game itself. Xbox can only take action against messages sent on XBL
