Do you have to pay for 2 ultimate game pass on 2 different consoles but same login details ??

Every account has a home xbox.

My account can play my games anywhere if im signed in.

My Home Xbox EVERYONE can play my games whether I'm using that xbox or not.

He can't use the another persons content on 2 different xbox's.

Hypothetically if the dad owned the content, and was always signed in while the kid used it over there, and the other xbox was the dads home xbox. Then the kidd could play both.

Or better yet if, If i misunderstood and the kidds account has the game pass the kid could play anywhere, and one of the xbox's can play the kidds games without him.

As long as he's signing into the same account that has the subscription, then no. He should have it on any device he uses. If the subscription is not tied to his account, he wouldn't have access on a different console.

The parts that you're missing are included with Game Pass Ultimate. It sounds like you may have been mistakenly paying for 2 different subscriptions before or cancelled the Ultimate subscription.

Game Pass Ultimate can be shared at the sime time on 2 devices (2 Xbox, 2 PCs, one of each). So for 3 devices playing at the same time, you'd need a second Game Pass Ultimate Account.

Game Pass Ultimate also includes Xbox Live Gold. So if you would have 2 Game Pass Ultimate to play on 3 devices (or even 4) at the same time, you would need only one Xbox Live Gold subscription on the account that will play on the device that will not be connected to Game Pass Ultimate.
