Do Xbox parties have push to talk on pc?

Thanks for your post. I understand you are attempting to use your bumper as a push to talk button for voice chat on your Windows 10 PC. Are you attempting to use PTT for Xbox Party Chat on your PC or using other software like Discord, TeamSpeak, Mumble,
etc.? Different software may only accept input from the keyboard instead of a controller.

The Xbox Beta App has a push to talk function for party chat, to enable it visit Settings>Audio>Enable Push to Talk.

It doesn't really seem feasible on Xbox, you'd need a dedicated button for push to talk and there aren't many games that don't utilise all of the controller buttons in some way or another. It would be nice to see them implement push to talk on the
Xbox App for the PC though, that seems more do-able!

A push to talk function for the xbox app on PC is exactly was I was talking about. I understand its basically impossible to have this feature of you use a controller but on PC it would help out a lot of people.

It depends on your mic setup I think. If you're on PC and are in an Xbox party via an app... it depends on your rig most definitely because if you have a controller and are playing games on the Xbox you can be in a party on the app and therefor utilize
the push to talk feature if in theory you had it set up correctly. A lot of people who live stream or just use Xbox Live to socialize while playing PC games that I know do that.

We understand that you are trying to use Xbox Game Bar for PC while in a party. As by default Xbox Game Bar works by overlay the function you would like to use. If you would like to request to have Xbox Game Bar work in background instead of overlay you may send that as suggestion - Xbox Support.

Should you have issues with the party chat while the game bar is on overlay, we suggest that you enabled, push to talk before speaking to your party. To enable or disable push to talk, in the Party widget, select the Party options … button, choose Party audio, and then select or clear the Enable push to talk checkbox. Push to talk is disabled by default.

If you are experiencing issues with the party chat while the game bar is overlaying, we suggest enabling "Push to Talk" before speaking to your party.

"Push to Talk" is disabled by default.
