Do the licenses follow the email account that you purchased your games from?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Yes, the license of the game is on the Microsoft account itself but if you will delete the Microsoft account and create a new one using the same Microsoft email address that will not be possible.

With the Xbox 360, you need to do a license transfer. Log in with the account that purchased the games, then goto settings - account - license transfer & follow the instructions from there. Once you have done that, you need to go to your download history,
and download each game to the console, this will only download the licenses, as you already have the games installed.

It may be a licensing issue with your console. Start a license transfer with the account that purchased the games. settings - account - license transfer, follow instructions from there. Then redownload the games & dlc from your download history. settings
- account - download history. Once you have done that, start your game again, hopefully the dlc should now work.

Could be a licensing issue, try doing a license transfer on the Xbox 360 using the account that purchased the content. To do a license transfer goto settings - account - license transfer, then follow the instructions from there. Once you have done that
go to your download history, and download the content to your Xbox, this is so the updated licenses will be installed on the Xbox so you can use them.

Repair cost is less then a new 360, but it is an old console, so I have to say that the decision is really yours. You can transfer everything to the new console by using an official transfer cable. Do not use one that is not licensed by XBOX as I have heard
of people having problems with them. You then do the following to transfer the licenses to the new console: On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

Go to settings and select Account.

Under Your Billing Options, select License Transfer.

Follow the instructions to transfer the content licenses.

After the licenses are transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licenses. For information about how to do this, see Download content you’ve previously purchased.

After you follow these steps, content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox Live.
