Do pc versions of xbox games have seperate achievements?

Just wondered if the pc versions of games in the windows store that are also available on Xbox, contain seperate achievements? Not play anywhere titles, just regular ones, as I'm playing Torment:Tides of Numenera on PC (on gamepass) which states
in the description that it has achievements and I have also previously played it a little bit on Xbox, but I'm not getting any achievements from the PC version? Is it because I already unlocked the same ones on Xbox?

Yes they have separate achievements

For some games yes they do for instance minecraft on xbox has the same achievements but since one is a windows 10. You can get them on there like starting it for the first time

If its the game says its a "Windows 10" version or something along those lines then yes, the achievement lists are separate. Like another user stated, 'Player-Anywhere' games tend to be all-in-one as far as their achievements go but, some games through the
Microsoft Store over the years after and before the 'Play-Anywhere' feature came about do have separate versions.

A could place you check this out/learn more about this would be on a third party achievement tracking website like TrueAchievements or Xbox Achievements. Personally I would go with TrueAchievements!

If it's not a 'Play Anywhere' title and supports achievements they will be separate from Xbox. A good example would be The Outer Worlds.

Play Anywhere titles share their achievements. If you unlock them on Xbox you can't do so again on PC and vise-versa.

Yep, totally separate achievements, good to boost your gamerscore if you are willing to do so.
