    Do I really need “Game Pass Ultimate” to play rainbow 6: Siege Online?


    I downloaded R6 after having it in my cloud for a couple years. I try to play an online match and it keeps telling me to buy “gamepass ultimate” but I literally own gamepass “for console” and have no issue playing other online games. Do I really need ultimate just to play online now?

    That's just standard Game Pass which gives you access to a library of games to play on console, but it does not include online multiplayer.

    You need Game Pass Core (formerly Gold) or Ultimate (which includes Core) to play online.
