Do I need to uninstall Halo Combat Evolved from my XBox before installing the Halo Master...

I don't have the Master Chief Collection for my Xbox One because I still have my Original Xbox / Xbox 360 with Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversay Edition, Halo Reach, and Halo 4.

The Halo series is amazing, but I won't be buying another Halo game on my Xbox One (except Halo Reach Anniversary Edition, if they make it).

Thank you for confirming. Halo: Combat Evolved does require Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to play. Combat Evolved acts as an add-on of sorts for the Master Chief Collection. You will need the full purchase of the Master Chief Collection in order to own all the titles within the package.

Indeed, I have played Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary from my
Halo: The Master Chief Collection in 3D on my Visio TV using the polarized glasses. It's kind of cool...!

Are you possibly confusing Halo: MCC with the Halo:CE Anniversary edition from Xbox 360? For the MCC they specifically removed 3D support from Halo:CEA. 3D support was only available in the Xbox 360 version of that game. In other words:

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (Xbox 360): had 3D support

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (part of Halo:MCC): did not have 3D support

Additionally, I can't find mention of any Xbox One games currently which have 3D features. The console does support 3D blu-ray, and it would be able to support 3D gaming, but no publishers are investing in 3D effects nowadays.

I still need:

- Halo: Combat Evolved

- Halo 2

- Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary

- Halo 3 ODST
