Do I need to retain product codes after redeeming?

Just bought an Xbox One / never used Xbox live before. I've input digital download codes for my bundle (Assassin's Creed Black Flag & Unity). I don't know if I need to retain the codes or not. Is Xbox live similar to Steam where your profile will always
show a game as "owned" and allow me to uninstall / re-install at a later date should I so choose?

so then the question changes into, will elite retain it's value after those 9 months are up until the next CoD game arrives?

 

Where's my Product Code Product?

Hey, so I just got a Product Code for the game's Explorer Pack (which includes 5 different products) and entered in the product code, but I can't seem to find the product itself or where to download it. It didn't start downloading automatically after entering
the code. If I try to enter it again, it says I've already entered it. Where do I find my product?

 

As long as the codes were successfully redeemed and you definitely got the item, then there's no reason to keep the code. Anything you purchase is tied to your account.

I still have my codes, uninstalled COD on my new xbox one. It's gone and the download codes say they have already been redeemed. I need to get COD back on my machine. Can anyone help?

 

When you go to your games and apps on the console, go all the way to the right and it should be listed as ready to install. If you don't see it, you may want to try creating your own thread in order to get better assistance.
