Do I need to pay for Xbox live to play multiplayer Minecraft Dungeons on my PC?

I'm trying to decide if I want to play Minecraft Dungeons but I don't know if I have to buy gold if I am playing on PC.

In order to play games online with friends through Xbox Live, you do need to pay for an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Whether on Xbox or on Windows 10, you are still using the Xbox Live service.

Sorry but no, to play multiplayer on PC you do not need to have gold, that is for xbox only.

Minecraft Dungeons are two separate purchases for Xbox One and PC. It's not part of the 'Play 'Anywhere' program.

If you want the PC version you'll need to buy it separately.
