Do I need a controller to play games on my MacBook Pro to play games or can I use the keyboard?

UGH, I hate gaming with a keyboard! A well designed game shouldn't need a keyboard. I played oblivion on my pc with a keyboard, and then a controller, and I got to say, controller was so much easier. The problem with keyboard play is there is no standardization.
Just to move your character is different from game to game. It becomes a real pain trying to remember what the mapping is from game to game.

But, having said that, I could find it more useful to use a full size keyboard and mouse to browse the internet, or search, or edit documents. There is a place for a keyboard on the xbox. I hate trying to enter in addresses in the IE ap with my 360 controller,
or doing any other type of text entry. It's too time consuming.

I play FPS on PC

but I bought a Max shooter pro for my xbox so you can use a keyboard and mouse,does take programming but response is a lot more accurate,you do have to unplug the wired controller and plug it in again to restart but in general works so much better for me

as for multi screen I would need three screens for race games ,are two screens used a lot in many games anyway

I would have to Disagree with this comment a gaming console is made to be played with controllers not keyboard and mouse if u want at games with a keyboard and mouse then go play on PC because alot of people have trouble using and playing with a keyboard
and even if u made it to were everyone could use it it puts a unfair advantage to those players that do not play well with a keyboard and mouse there for they to make it to were u can use use nothing ealse but controllers for console period the end

I was trying with a macbook pro 2018 which is full spec on dualboot. The game did run but it was unplayable. I guess I have to just watch others play the game, as I just bought a ps4 pro last year
