do i have to re register for the insider program once i upgrade to the series x?

Sea of Thieves Insider is not related to the xbox Insider. Just go to the sea of thieves website to register for the Insider program.

i should have re written and specified i signed up for the Sea of Thieves Insider Program, but i own the game as a disc and so i have to get the Insider Build from the Xbox Insider Hub

I only have one account and this has been happening for 7 years across multiple Xbox consoles from a base Xbox One to Xbox One X and now continuing on Xbox Series X as I have upgraded over the years.

This is on the console. Nothing to do with the mobile app.

I have tried blocking and I have tried muting and nothing works.

I am not and have never been part of the insider program on any of these consoles.

Is this Xbox One X a new console, or did you buy it pre-owned? Or do you have this console registered for a pre-release build with Xbox Insiders program?

The backwards compatible program is on hold for now as the team are busy working on next gen/ Series X.

I am sure they will eventually resume duties on the program once they are done with the Series X and the next gen series of consoles.

NO! Unlike some games that have an Xbox One version that will upgrade to the the S|X version if you put it in a series X, NBA2K for S|X is a complete different version than the Xbox One version and it will not work if you put the disc inside of an Xbox One. Xbox One cannon run a Series X game and putting a Series X disc inside an X1 will not install the X1 version.
