    I have $28 of credit on my Xbox, how can I add $2 more?

    I'm currently trying to purchase a

    $30 DLC for Boderlands 2, but I only have $28 credit on my xbox. I'm worried that if I try to add money using my credit card, that it will take $30 out of my bank account instead of the needed $2.

    Will I need to get another gift card for Xbox points to add the $2 I need to get the DLC, or can I add the $2 using my credit card?

    Child/Parent account settings major issues

    Hi there,

    So I tried to purchase some DLC when I was prompted that this was not allowed because of my family settings. I remembered back on 360 these were put on but they were never an issue preventing me purchasing DLC because the settings were changed to allow this.

    So if I try to change the settings it says 'sign in as your parent to change these settings'. When I do, it says I'm not in my parent's account's family - I'm already in some other family, so he can't change any of the settings - and neither can I. We both
    have no idea who's family this account has been added to.

    This means neither of us can change any of the settings, meaning I'll never be able to buy DLC if this isn't fixed somehow.

    What can I do?

    The Home Xbox feature lets you share games and your Xbox Live Gold subscription with anyone else who signs in on your console. In-game contents may vary depending on the game. The Forza Horizon 3 Expanision Pass is account-specific, so its license cannot
    be shared to a different Xbox Profile.

    Destiny 2 PC game sharing not working since recent patch?

    This problem lies within the "Microsoft Family" feature on the Microsoft Store. I had my cousin and my friend registered in my "family" and up until now, (March 24 hotfix for D2 respectively) we've been able to share the Destiny 2 DLC between accounts. I believe either Microsoft or Bungie is at fault, Bungie at fault for introducing a bug with the recent hotfix that doesn't allow shared content anymore, or Microsoft for fixing what I guess was not an intended feature with their family sharing. I'm not forgetting anything. Microsoft might not have anything to do with Destiny, but it certainly has something to do with the way content was shared, owned by Bungie or not, through the Microsoft Family feature.

    Hi there,

    I'm not sure why the DLC won't play for you. I do know a way around not being able to purchase the DLC.

    Because you share the console, you'll want to do Xbox One purchases using either the website (Xbox.com) or Xbox One SmartGlass App. Then the purchase will show on your account.

    I hope this helps.

    That's what I do since I share a console.

    Hi there MoneyShot6565,

    Is there a chance that you purchased the DLC's under your friends account and not your own? The DLC's and installed games would follow your account and be under the ready to install.

    A solution to recover the DLC's would be to do game sharing with your family member assuming they are not already game sharing with someone else.

    No you only get two licenses one for the purchasing console and one for the purchasing gamertag

    All profiles on the purchasing console can use the dlc but only the purchasing gamertag is portable and can use the dlc everywhere so unless you only have 2 consoles this will not work
