Do I have a glitch?

I just downloaded the game from XBL. I just got to the steel mill and I can't get out. I've looked up walkthroughs and videos on how to escape. I'm firing the remote electrical charger at the exit door but the door won't open. It'll shake a little, but won't
slide up. theres no way I'm not doing this correctly. I've even restarted the game entirely and ran into the same problem.

As I mentioned before folk got banned because the new fans drew more power from the console than the stock ones, they changed the way the console works and that Microsoft can detect.

That's not correct. They can tell if you've replaced hardware if it changes how the console operates. For example they banned people who added better fans because they drew more power from the console and they could detect that.

Getting banned from a self-repair may be a small risk but it is still there and telling people they wont be banned if they try it is misleading.

It's not illegal to get your console repaired by a third party but you also then have to recourse if you are banned from LIVE. So it is something that should only be attempted if you are fully aware of the risks.

 

If you're talking about 'Arkham City', you need to fire the Electrical Charge with the Right Bumper (NOT the Trigger) at the door and it'll open...
