    Do Games Uninstall Properly On GamePass for PC?


    I uninstalled Gears 5, Halo Master Chief Collection, and Grounded and the amount of memory they take up on my hard drive is still taken up even though they don't appear in the Xbox application or under the Windows applications list when I search my PC. After restarting my PC the games reappeared in the Xbox application. Then I tried uninstalling them again via the Xbox app and the Windows uninstaller and this whole process above repeated again. I've discovered they're still technically installed because if I go to reinstall Halo Master Chief Collection the install finishes instantly for a 120 gigabyte game and I don't have fast internet. I had this same problem a year or 2 ago last time I used GamePass while it was in "Beta" on PC and I had to completely clean reset my PC deleting everything to uninstall those games. I avoided using GamePass again until it was out of beta on PC to avoid this problem but it seems to still be a thing. Does anyone else have this problem and if so when will this be fixed?

    Try to UNINSTALL the GAMEPASS app, now do a sign out and RESTART PC, after SIGN IN, make sure PC is UPDATED , no do fresh download GAMEPASS app, see if any change

    It depends on if you're playing PC games through Gamepass PC. You can uninstall the Xbox apps by right clicking them and selecting uninstall.

    To uninstall Gamepass games from your PC after canceling your Gamepass subscription, you can follow these steps:

    Press the Windows key + I to open the "Settings" app.

    Go to "Apps" and click on "Apps & features".

    Scroll down to find the Gamepass game you want to uninstall and click on it.

    Click on the "Uninstall" button and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.

    Repeat the process for any other Gamepass games you want to uninstall.

    If you are unable to uninstall the games through the "Apps & features" section in the "Settings" app, you can try uninstalling them through the "Control Panel". To do this, follow these steps:

    Press the Windows key + R to open the "Run" dialog.

    Type "control" and press Enter to open the "Control Panel".

    Go to "Programs" and click on "Uninstall a program".

    Scroll down to find the Gamepass game you want to uninstall and click on it.

    Click on the "Uninstall" button and follow the prompts to uninstall the game.

    Repeat the process for any other Gamepass games you want to uninstall.

    i've got the same error code 0x87e00013 when an update is available for a gamepass game ...The only way to bypass that is to uninstall and reinstall the game , it's not very practical hope this can be fixe when the pc gamepass leave beta .

    Game Pass PC can't start games, shows Gaming Services instead.

    Fixed it myself. Had to finally uninstall the game and reinstall it. But all this bloat and issues with gamepass on pc makes me not wanting to renew it.
