    Update 12/27,

    Unfortunately I have yet to receive any emails to my main or alternate aliases.

    No email from Microsoft today.

    With the news that emails with prizes where being sent out to early adopters of the Xbox One I was excited to check my email and see what it was I received. Zero, Zip, Zilch, Nada, NOTHING. 9 year Xbox Live Gold member. Bought the Xbox One less then 3 months after launch (2-7-2014). I have already had to send in my Kinect for repairs as it would no longer power on. I hate when they do things like this because I always get left out. I went to make sure I was already setup to receive emails from them and I was. No idea why they feel like alienating their customers.

    Only the email associated with the account that made the purchase gets notified

    OK great, I can add my son's email as an alias, and we'd both receive all xbox updates, subscription notifications, game notification etc.

    This would work providing I can then unsubscribe to irrelevant emails to me, yet would he continue to receive them OR by me unsubscribing does it effectively unsubscribe all aliases associated with the account?

    What do you mean in my library? Should I receive a confirmation email on the purchase through internet for the game that I bought on xbox one store or for the game that I bought in the shop?

    Changing my xbox one email

    That's what I'm trying to do. Replace the @paradise.net.nz email with my @outlook.co.nz but there's nowhere in xbox I can change it and all online info says I need to add aliases which I try and get the stupid message that's it's taken... which it is...
    by me.

    I just want to change the old email and keep my gaming stats etc, but the whole things exhausting with no real answers.
