    Can anyone please advise me if a Xbox 360 will work on the Xbox One?

    As seems to advise it will but buying as a present so can't risk being wrong!

    As looking at the Xbox 360 kinect sports game.

    Problem with running Forza Motorsport on xbox 360

    If the game is made for the One it will only work on the One. 360 games can work on the One, but One games do not work on the 360. You would have to purchase the 360 version to play it on the 360.

    If you are using an Xbox 360, but do not have a hard drive installed, the game will not work. Xbox original games on the Xbox 360 require an Xbox 360 official hard drive to work. No there is no way around it.
