    dns_probe_finished_nxdomain on every single device my home on home network.


    As the title says, I get this error on every single device in my home IF it's connected to my home network. If I switch my phone to cellular data, not a problem. But on my wifi, Xbox, oculus, phones, computers, all refuse to load the live login page. Could use some help please.

    It sounds like it could be the DNS that your home wifi use. I expect your mobile data uses different DNS servers as a different company. You could try setting up a manual DNS server for the Xbox. If you know what your mobile uses could use those or Googles 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

    Great idea, gave that a try, same result.

    After that I decided to use a VPN, so I enabled the built in VPN on my router and configured it, was able to see everything on my home network, every device including my Xbox remotely, but still it will not connect to my Xbox.

    I really wish I could roll back whatever update killed this functionality.

    I know the VPN worked since I could connect to every other device on my home network as if I was plugged right into my router.

    Home network problem.

    If you are in a single family home (not an apartment), look into powerline networking. It may work in an apartment, but different neighbors have caused problems for my powerline network.
