DLC content transfer from xbox 360 to xbox one...

i have recently updated from xbox 360 to xbox one.. and when switching my profiles from BF4 360 to BF4 xbox one... my DLC content did not follow.. i have spoken with EA support and they told me to contact MS b/c all content was purchased via MS points cards/redeem
codes. so.. i have spoken to MS support and have been instructed to create this post.. i know it may sound ridiculous to want old content from an older game, especially when there is a new one coming out soon.. but the bottom line is this... i spent a lot
of money on DLC's for 2 separate GT's and xbox GOLD memberships so that i can play what i want...when i want.. and how i want.. and now that i've upgraded both of my consoles to xbox one.. now i can't do the afore mentioned. simply put.. i want what i've
paid for. help and understanding is all i ask for...

Unable to transfer content

Are you referring to Minecraft contents? If yes, downloaded content you already own for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition may be downloaded again for free on Xbox One. This offer applies to downloaded content released on Xbox 360 before September 5, 2014. However,
as per Mojang, as of Feb. 25, 2016 the Xbox One digital upgrade and DLC content transfer offers are no longer available.

Lincence Transfer Issues

Hey there Unkown! That's because license transfers aren't used for sharing DLC/Games without paying for them. The purpose of a license transfer is to transfer ownership of content from one console to another console; not to transfer ownership from one account
to another.

For example, proper use of a license transfer would be: You have an original Xbox 360 console and you buy an Xbox 360 S console. You then use a license transfer to transfer ownership of all of your DLC from your original console to your new console.

 

Unfortunately there is nothing no one can do

Your only option would be two thing buy the ea pass which gives you access to battlefield 4 and some of the dlcs

And no the upgrade offers are only theruthe publishers

Refunds are handled only thru support phone call or chat however upgrade offers don't apply to refunds

There is no current upgrade offer for bf 4 you can however buy the ea pass and get bf 4 premium for free with the dlc

Not all games apply for upgrade offers

It's only when an publisher offers an upgrade do you get the game for a lower cost

However as mentioned you can get it for free via ea pass

I dunno why support sent you here since it's an publishers upgrade offer you are looking for

Yes ms handles the transactions however ea decides the prices and upgrade offers

Ms is only the transaction merchant just like Sony or nintendo or steam

The prices and upgrades are all handled thru the publisher

I dunno why ea told you that Ms would've give you and upgrade offer since that's a publisher issue

Ea support doesn't make corporate policy nor can they give you an upgrade offer that is only thru ea and their corporate heads since bf 4 for xbox one is an older title it is on ea pass

There is deals with gold which is reduced cost for ea games like hardline

 

One of the issues you don't realize is 1 ea would have to decide if they would bite the bullet and allow all bf 4 users for 360 to upgrade to xbox one at a reduced cost rember ea is the ones who has to approve sales of their own products since most of the
money goes to ea with Ms only getting a small portion

2 it's cheaper to buy ea access the. Wait for ea to decide to upgrade

FYI publishers don't usually upgrade 2years after the release of the xbox one copy usually it's starts from the launch date of the updated copy and not all publishers allow for upgrades

The idea is to not cannibalize next gens sales of their own products )ea in this case)

It's very few companies and games that allow for upgrades and usually for a limited time

 

i understand what you guys are saying... yes..it does suck that your DLC content that you paid for does not transfer over on the xbox one.. i guess i should have expected it.. thank you all for your replies.
