    Does anyone know if I buy the hot wheels expansion pack for Forza Horizon 5 on one of my accounts does home xbox make it so I can use it on my other account without having to buy it on both accounts?

    Sharing DLC

    Hi,

    The DLC will share across to other accounts as long as the account that owns the DLC has the Xbox set as the home Xbox. With regards to the second console they would need to play on the account that purchased the DLC as it would not be the home console.

    Yes, in a sense. Whoever plays on his "home" Xbox has access to all of his games, including DLC. So if your Xbox was his home Xbox, you would be able to download and use the car pack. If his own Xbox is his home Xbox, and he comes over, logs on, downloads
    the DLC, you will not be able to use the DLC once he leaves.

    Which DLC was your son trying to access? Some in-game cosmetics are not shareable across accounts and must be purchased separately which may explain why your son was unable to use it until you purchased it. Does your son have trouble accessing any of your
    games?

    I would recommend you to contact Forza support to really be sure about this. I say this because while most DLCs, contents and packs can be shared, there are a few ones that cannot.
