I never authorised a debit order on my account and i have been overcharged. Please refund the R1503.74 plus R3.00 bank charges

It doesn’t seem that Microsoft is getting involved in this. It might not be a Microsoft transaction at all.

I recommend you get you bank card stopped and report the fraudulent transactions to your bank’s fraud department. If it is through a credit card they should be able to reimburse you.

I also suggest that you find an alternative method of payment for your Microsoft account. My card details have been compromised twice.

I honestly doubt that the "DL*MICROSOFT PANAMA ..." that we are seeing on our bank statements is even a Microsoft debit.

If you have nothing on your Microsoft account for the amount being debited, then you should assume that your bank card details have been compromised.

I suggest you:

1. Stop the card that was being debited (immediately) by contacting your bank and informing them of a suspicious transaction.

2. Lodge a dispute with your bank relating to the transaction in question and take a screenshot of your Microsoft account proving that this transaction does not relate to your Microsoft account.

The bank should issue you with a new card and if you can prove that the transaction is not yours then they should also refund you.

You probably want to find an alternative way to pay your Microsoft account. The breach of information could be on their end...

I had a similar transaction on my credit card, the bank requested I first confirm with Microsoft as they do not deem merchant transactions as fraudulent.

Microsoft first needs to confirm that the transaction is not related to my subscription.

So.. how can I get this proof from Microsoft?
