    Disputing a Refund Request


    Hello! So I put in a refund request yesterday after my son bought a pretty expensive game on my card. I explained this to the website and I got declined immediately. Can someone please help. My family doesn’t really have the money to be buying games, like my son thinks we do. I tried to get help with an actual person, but when I called Microsoft support they couldn’t really help me.

    You would need to try replying to the email you received denying the refund to contact the refund specialists.

    As for your refund, you mentioned that your refund request was denied. In order to dispute the results, please reply to the refund results in your email and explain to them that the game is not working. Help them understand that your request should be granted to reconsider their decision.

    After submitting your dispute, you will receive an update from the Refund Webform team via email within 72 hours.

    Don't worry, I have experienced the same before and had my refund granted after disputing the results.

    You've got nothing to worry, there is still a way for you to make your refund request approved. You will need to dispute the refund decision by replying to the refund email results and help them understand that your refund should be granted.

    After submitting your refund dispute, you will receive an update from them within 72 hours.

    I have also experienced a similar issue before and had my refund request approved after submitting a dispute.

    You can reply to the refund webform email results that you have received before. It should be in your email inbox pertaining to the refund decision that your request was declined.

    You need to reply to the email, address their decision results and then provide complete documentation and an explanation as to why your refund request should be granted.

    For example:

    "Hi,

    I would like to dispute the refund webform decision because... "

    Once you have sent your email dispute, you will receive an update from them within 72 hours.

    You've got nothing to worry! I had a similar issue before and had my refund request approved after the dispute.
