    Disposable controllers anyone

Ive had an xbox from the beginning of its inception. Have been loyal to say the least as has my closest friend whom I now game share with. I have been so broke and in debt over the last year or so that I have now found myself buying a Mini tool repair kit, soldering kit and various other pieces of equipment to try and repair 8 yes 8 controllers. As for me £50.00 is extreme for a new controller. 2 of the controllers are mine 4 my friends and 2 my sons. All three of us play various Types of games but I would say mainly FPS.

DRIFT, I have on several occasions managed to fix the drift by taking them apart and using a can of compressed air to blow out whatever it might be thats maybe affecting the drift. When this simple process solves nothing I then take out the board and flip it over to expose the joystick part, open up the Joystick component and discover that 2 plastic components within the joystick can be removed. Carefully removing them I can clean them and place back in. In the vain hope that this will solve the DRIFT problem. 6/10 times this might work for a short period and your controller may seem normal. Then a couple of weeks later its back worse than ever. Ive now purchased a cheap soldering kit in the vain hope that I may be able to desolder the joystick component and replace each one.

After all of that my point is why doesnt Microsoft just provide a disposable controller thats 100% recyclable or maybe 80 - 90% as the parts that are used within the £50.00 to 120 elite controllers are cheap plastic quickly wearable parts.

None of the 8 controllers were returnable or under warrenty and around 6 of them were no more than a year old.

My friend has managed in the past to take his many controllers back as has brought them direct from a shop like Game for example, and they have exchanged for a new one. So in essence in less than a year he has been able to obtain a new controller due to the poor quality of the parts for free. If I have a spare £50 in the future that is exactly what I am going to do.

Put the cheap parts into the budget controllers and revamp the parts your using currently to go with the normal base controller and the more elite ones.

    :)

    Disposable controllers anyone

i use the power a controller with rear buttons now, then i set them for run and jump, i find that pressing in the analogue stick to run all the time puts to much pressure on the component and it causes drift.

Does Xbox Series X|S controller work with 14500 Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries?

No it does not. The Controller is designed to use AA batteries, so you will need standard rechargeable or disposable AAs, or the Play and Charge kit.

Xbox one controller won't stay connected wirelessly

When you have the controller connected to the console via a USB data cable (make sure it's a data cable, as a lot of charging cables for smartphones only have the power lines connected, but no data lines), open the Xbox accessories app, and check if there
is a firmware update available for that controller.

If the controller is up to date, remove the batteries, and connect a USB charging power supply to the USB cable, and put it into an outlet near you. Or use a power bank to power the controller just for testing purposes.

Play with the controller connected to the USB power supply or power bank. If the controller works, remove the USB cable, and insert fresh disposable batteries (rechargeable batteries "only" provide 1.2V power compared to the 1.5V power of disposable batteries,
also rechargeable batteries immediately lose power linearly, whereas disposable batteries hold their 1.5V power just before they die completely).

Does the controller still lose power and connection?

have the modders been disposed of

Doesn't look like they did much of anything about the modders, unless someone reported them in game. The patch they released to fix the Freight under map glitch didn't fix it, just moved the out of map spot, according to a few people on the COD Forums.

I seriously doubt this game will be rid of the modders. Look at COD4 and MW2, they're worse now than they ever have been. Just a look ahead 2-3 years down the road, if they keep the 360 online that long.

have the modders been disposed of

I havent heard anyone say they've been in a modded lobby since the patch saturday ( ?)

    As far as this statement:

" The patch they released to fix the Freight under map glitch didn't fix it, just moved the out of map spot, according to a few people on the COD Forums." .

.... i seriously doubt they "moved" the out of map spot. More likely, they fixed it and someone found another. Thye'll fix that one, and someone will find another one., Thats pretty much how its been every rrelease.
