Disney app crashes when controller turns off

This is likely happening because when the controller turns off with headphones connected, the audio output switches to your TV and the Disney app doesn't know how to handle the audio output changing.

I found that it was my batteries that where going flat that made the sim hang or when the controller turned off it would crash the game.

I ended up buying a rechargeable battery kit for my XBOS Controller and threw out the standard batteries, that has fixed the hanging issue while flying for me but the Sim still crashes when the controller turns off or gets disconnected 🙄

I reset the console like you said, however, when I copilot the accessibility controller with the regular one, it’s still not working properly. Now instead of the accessibility controller being delayed, it’s the regular one. When I turn off copilot, they both work properly in game but obviously can’t be used at the same time which I need. So far, I only have this problem playing the Witcher 3 after the new update and Disney Dreamlight, both of which will randomly crash as well ( just saying in case it’s relevant.)

Thanks for the replies. I do not have an antivirus. Windows defender antivirus and firewall is turned off. The Xbox app is most definitely running when I launch the game. For example i can run Microsoft flight simulator just fine on gamepass but when I try either of the Disney games one freezes and one crashes. I went through and installed all the visual basics c+ files from 2008 to current year and still didn't help.

Ive held down power and hard rebooted the xbox one before and i am still seeing the crashes. It crashes when i go to turn off the system. Ill hold down the center button on the controller and select turn off xbox and it reboots when trying to shut down.
