Disk unreadable on black ops 2 and skyrim freezes .. Both digital games.

Have you tried deleting the games and redownloading them by chance? Often times both of these issues can be cleared up with a redownload. If you've already tried that let's focus on the disc unreadable issue first. Let us know how it goes

this is what i do i put in black ops 2 it make growling sound says play game on disk so i start game and as soon as it starts it says disk is unreadable... but it doesnt seem to be xbox or disk the disk runs perfectly on my brothers xbox but then my xbox
play every game perfectly but black ops 2

I got this error the other day on my black ops 2 disk. Disk was clean as a whistle and the console is near new. What happened is I had downloaded a game and for some reason the console was trying to play that game I downloaded and the black ops disk at
the same time.

on my home screen, I hit "X" to see game details. Even though I had Black ops in the console it was showing the down loaded game. I had to delete the game I downloaded and then cleared my cache. restarted the xbox and then black ops played fine.

I think the console got confused as to what it was supposed to play so it just coughed up a "disk unreadable" error.

This may not be the fix, but check the game details and see if the game you have in the disk tray is what comes up in the "game details". If its anything other than the disk, there might be your problem.

hi, iv just brought a copy of skyrim, i had the same problem , the disk was undetected then when it finally loaded it went to a black screen and said that it was unreadable, i tryed it on my brothers xbox and then returned it too morrisons, i got another
copy and the same happened again , on both consoles!!!!

Was worth a try but no luck here.

Disk 1 will show the game info but fails to load.

I'm getting the Disk Unreadable error if I try to start with it (and that's after it spins up and tells me how many friends are playing the game), and if I start with disk 2 then insert disk 1 when prompted it freezes and the disk stops spinning.
