    Disk getting stuck - not reading!


    hi my Xbox one has developed a problem, when I insert my disk it gets stuck on the way in and then ontinues to go in slowly or needs a push, once it is in it doesn’t ready anything at all, if I press it eject it will come out sometimes but other times I
    have to reset the Xbox to remove the disk, so frustrating as I can only play digital games at the moment

    What game was it? What I'm hearing is the disk read error, ship it to microsoft and they'll fix it. This is caused when the reading lens get stuck far back so instead of reading disk, it reads the edge of the disk causing this frustrating error.

    Hello Flying duck1234,

    Check The Disc.

    • Make sure there are no scratches in the disc like this.

    Clean The Disc:

    1. Get a soft cloth.
    2. Hold the disc by the edges with the shiny part facing you
    3. Wipe from the center to outer age as shown in image below

    Unrecognized Disc

    is your warrenty expired? there is a eye where you put the disk on that reads your disk. Sometimes it gets stuck or damaged. I do not suggest messing with this because it does void warranty. So I suggest calling 1-800-4MYXBOX and transferring to hardware.
    They can help you with fixing the issue

    Do you mean the disk gets stuck physically? As in the disk is unable to spin? Please post back explain your situation :)

    I am having the same issue. All my other disk read perfectly normal. Sometime the MW3 disk reads great but most of the time it doesnt. I will sit there for a good 15-20 min opening and closing the disk tray. I have tried all the trouble shooting tips they
    dont work either. Most time i close the tray and it says reading then the disk drive stops spining and it says open tray. Some times it starts to read it and starts to load the game then I get the disk read error. some time it will actually start to play
    and I get the disk read error. i am on my second game disk.
