    Not likely to be changing my gamer tag, happy with what I got.

    The more players that come to Xbox live the harder it will be to find a gamer tag that isn't in use. So yeah, good idea I think as well.

    It wouldnt effect me really as I wouldnt change my gamer tag but I am sure lots of other people have a preference for one that's longer so why not!

    To me it wouldnt matter much, but if people want a longer gamertag they should be able to have one
    This is pretty much how I feel about this topic / discussion. It wouldn't bother me at all if they didn't increase the length for Gamertags because I have no plans to change mine anytime soon. Then again, if some want longer ones, then maybe the Xbox team
    will look into making that change at some point in the future.

    I was thinking the same thing, especially since they just lowered the number to 12. Maybe when Scarlett comes out.
