buy a microphone thats another 60$ plus taxes buy a 2 year protection for the console thats 50$ plus taxes plus buying the console thats 499$ plus taxes then now we gotta buy the games see my point. PS4 is 399$ plus taxes and there giving away a free game

I got it day one (500 plus tax) plus i downloaded digitally CoD (60) BF (60) Ryse (60) DR3 (60) for a total of over 750 dollars and i'm not complaining

$60 for PS+ to play MP games.

If you want to pay for extra protection that's all on you.

You pay taxes on the PS4 was well, so?

If you are going to pay $60 for a mic, that's all on you as well. Although I read that there was an adapter for the headsets that people like to buy.

As for the free game on launch I suppose it's cool if you like the game they are giving you.

There are too many sections. Cut the number of boards and make the place look busy. Casual visitors will be more likely to stay then.

Cut it down to Xbox 360 General Discussion and Xbox One General Discussion.

Its not a lot more at all. General sales taxes in the US can be as low as 5%(maybe even lower) going as high as 15% or higher. Overall the genral conversion works out very similar in overall price to what we pay in the UK.

We don't get screwed nor do they. If you want to look at high prices take a look at Australia and some other European places.

And before anyone comes in with some standard conversion rate take into account variable taxes and also the fact that a buyer can shop around here and already pay at least £10 less than RRP.

All in all we pay very similar prices within a few $/£.
