Discs not reading / ejecting

I have issues with reading and ejecting discs from my Xbox One S.

Repeatably but not every time, my discs cant be read by my Xbox and then don't eject at all without me shutting down, unplugging the power supply, plugging it back in and then pressing the eject button.

It happens with all discs.

Does it need repair or is there another fix?

this is a disc drive issue and would require a repair, if not in warranty then a charge may be necessary.

I would try contact customer service and explain the issue to them it definitely sounds like a drive problem though

I think you'll have to contact Microsoft support, I think your drive has a problem.

Is the console still under warranty?
