    Okay so I've read through the faqs for the all access for the xbox 1 x and I was wondering if when you upgrade to the scarlet, do we get a discount on the overall price of it. Since we are trading it in it would make sense that there would be a discounted
    price for it. Have I missed that information anywhere or can someone help clarifying for me?

    I'm guessing since the price hasn't been announced yet this information is kinda hush hush but if there is no discount on trading in, waiting till its released would be the smarter move in my situation since it would be a spare xbox for my bedroom.

    I'd hope so but it's this line in the fine print that makes me worry otherwise: Upgrade requires at least 12 payments on your original Xbox All Access contract, and purchase of a new 24-month Xbox All Access contract for Project Scarlett, expected
    Holiday 2020.

    I believe the amount you have paid on your xbox one will go towards the scarlet. I mean if not why would you give up your xbox one for nothing?

    Of course youd get a discount if you traded in the 360 version. In fact you can trade GTAV and get a discount on any game.

    Why do people buy digital versions anyway? I could understand if you got some sort of discount or MS credits, or something. But to pay full price for the digital version that you can't resell later on, trade in or if your Xbox bricks you lose access.
